In this story, the central focus is on a high school where certain students, known as "saviors," retain memories from their past lives. Moroha Haimura is a recent addition to this exclusive institution and it quickly becomes apparent that he possesses a unique combination of recollections from both Shirogane and Kuroma. The student population is split into two factions: the "saviors" who employ their Puraana powers to wield weapons and fight their enemies, and the "Kuroma" who use their Maana abilities to defeat foes by employing magical skills that defy the laws of physics.
