Saved by Tan, the man who leads the Library, Hwa-jin, who has lost his memories due to the shock of his fall, is given the name Hima by Tan. Having lost his home and family to the White Army’s raids, Tan initially dislikes Hwa-jin for speaking in the dialect of the Special City. However, he gradually grows fond of Hima, who acts innocently due to his memory loss.
