Summary
Suicide Boy
Hoon Lee, aged 17, attends high school and resides in an inexpensive apartment as a hikikomori. Along with his struggles, he endures bullying at school and the recent loss of his mother due to an illness. To make matters worse, Hoon's only caregiver is his cruel father who is under a heavy financial burden. Devoid of support and feeling isolated, Hoon contemplates ending his misery by ending his life. He charts out a detailed plan but withdraws at the sight of suffering. Throughout his journey, he meets individuals who may or may not have Hoon's best interests at heart. Despite his inclination to self-harm, Hoon perseveres with the aspiration of surviving another dull and burdensome day.
