Summary
Dragon Bead
Kim Jae-woon has always been an unlucky man — misfortune follows him everywhere, even on his birthday. That day, after yet another string of bad luck, he’s told that the company’s CEO wants to see him. Drawn in by curiosity, he follows Yeong-yeong… only to find a young, strikingly handsome man sitting on a bed — far from what he expected a CEO to look like. Calling Jae-woon his “yeouiju” (dragon’s pearl), the man — Sa Gi-hwan — suddenly grips his throat, draining him of an unseen power. Overwhelmed by the fear of death, Jae-woon instinctively rejects Gi-hwan’s energy, and the violent clash sends Gi-hwan reeling. Humiliated, Gi-hwan tries to harm Jae-woon, but Yeong-yeong intervenes— and thus begins a dangerous entanglement between the three: Sa Gi-hwan, a twisted imugi (serpent spirit) who views Jae-woon as nothing but his possession, Kim Jae-woon, the fated “dragon’s pearl” who dares to defy his destiny, and Yeong-yeong, caught between them, growing through love, pain, and fate.
