Lord Blackwood Promised Me Death

Lord Blackwood Promised Me Death

Bella, a fallen noble lady, lives only for the sake of dying. Her sole reason for continuing to live is to retrieve the music box left behind by her mother and then take her own life. With that single purpose in mind, she infiltrates the Blackwood Duke's estate disguised as a maid. However, she is discovered by William, the dangerous heir to the dukedom, known as the "Grim Reaper." Rather than backing down, Bella exploits his weakness and makes him an unexpected offer. "I'll be your lover." Thus begins a scandal destined to shake high society. What was supposed to be a strictly business relationship soon takes an unexpected turn. As Bella continues to recklessly put herself in danger, William finds himself growing increasingly concerned about her... "Falling for her...? Don't make me laugh. Bella Walker is a woman I'm supposed to kill with my own hands once she achieves her goal." Will William Blackwood truly be able to kill her as their contract demands?
