Shackles firmly around their wrists, they are informed that no one will miss them because the world believes they have died, and they are now test subjects for revolutionary research. This research involves abilities that can enhance a person's capabilities and bend reality itself. Although dread fills most people's hearts, Akira finds the challenge exhilarating.
