Summary
Bad Things We Do Together
“Something stimulating, fast… and nothing that gets in the way of studying, right?” Haneul, who joined a cram school for repeat test-takers to get into medical school, relieves her stress by kissing Mir—the boy she met there. When she’s kissing him, she can forget everything. “Use me whenever you want.” Whenever the pressure becomes too much, Haneul seeks comfort from Mir. But she has no intention of dating him. Mir is a poor swimmer juggling training and a part-time job at the academy, while she plans to enter med school and live a successful life. At twenty, in their reckless youth, their dangerous, fragile relationship continues. And just as promised, Mir always comes to her whenever she calls. But then— “Let’s break up. You and I… we don’t fit.” After the college entrance exam ends, Haneul cruelly throws Mir away.
